Prepare for a fight
Your job determines which weapons and skills fit your character. Read required level and job restrictions before replacing equipment. Keep your health and skill resources visible in the HUD.
Learn the skill kit
Open Skill from the main menu or with K. Review active and passive skills rather than judging a class by its weapon alone. Fourth-job guides explain the eight Eclipse Legacy paths and their signature skills.
PvE and PvP
PvE Damage and PvP Damage describe different combat contexts. Choose equipment for the activity you intend to play; a higher bonus in one context is not automatically better for the other.
Use the Character window and equipment family references together. Compare base ATK, useful effects and upgrade potential, rather than appearance alone.
