Character information
The Character window shows your name, job, level, server and channel above the stat panel. Open it with H or through the main menu.
Combat values
ATK and DEF sit alongside attack speed, critical stats, Block, PvE and PvP modifiers. STR, STA, DEX and INT appear in the attribute section. Compare values while wearing the same equipment and under the same buffs to avoid mixing different setups.
Compare equipment fairly
A tooltip describes an item; the Character window describes your current character. Equipment, upgrades, buffs and class effects can change the totals. A powerful character in a screenshot is an example of a build, not a promise of the same stats from one item.
