What an Appeal Must Include
Your appeal should clearly explain:
- which punishment you are appealing;
- why you believe the punishment should be revoked, reduced, or reconsidered;
- what part of the original decision you believe was incorrect;
- any new information relevant to the decision;
- and any evidence that supports your appeal.
Where applicable, supporting evidence may include screenshots, video, records, or other relevant material.
Submitting a claim without supporting evidence does not automatically make the appeal invalid, but the player is responsible for providing enough information for Administrators to meaningfully review the request.
Evidence
Players should submit truthful and complete evidence.
Fabricating, altering, falsifying, or knowingly misrepresenting evidence is prohibited and may result in additional disciplinary action.
Appeal Review
Authorized Administrators may review:
- the original moderation record;
- the stated reason for the punishment;
- internal Staff notes;
- game/server records;
- relevant transaction, combat, or ranking records;
- evidence submitted by the player;
- and other information relevant to the case.
The Administrator may:
- uphold the punishment;
- reduce the punishment;
- revoke the punishment;
- request additional information;
- correct an incorrect moderation record;
- or take another appropriate corrective action.
Permanent Bans
Permanent bans may be appealed.
The ability to appeal a Permanent ban does not mean the ban will be reduced.
Permanent-ban appeals exist so that mistaken identity, incorrect findings, materially new evidence, compromised-account circumstances, or other legitimate issues can be reviewed.
Appeal Abuse
A denied appeal is not an offense.
Submitting an appeal that Staff ultimately disagrees with is not an offense.
Good-faith use of the appeal system is allowed.
Abuse of the appeal system is prohibited.
Appeal abuse includes:
- repeated spam submissions;
- repeated submissions after a final decision without materially new evidence;
- harassment or threats toward reviewers;
- fabricated or altered evidence;
- impersonation;
- malicious mass submissions;
- or attempts to exploit or disrupt the Appeals system.
Appeal-system abuse may result in additional disciplinary action, including temporary or Permanent bans depending on severity.
Final Decisions
When an appeal is marked Final/Closed, additional appeals concerning the same punishment should only be submitted when the player possesses materially new evidence or information.
Repeatedly reopening the same case without new information may be treated as Appeal Abuse.
