Make your topic easy to find
Search for an existing discussion before starting another. Choose a clear title, the closest category and relevant tags. Add to an older discussion when you have useful new information; do not bump it with an empty reply.
Keep guild recruitment and any permitted trade advertisements in their designated areas. Posting a listing does not make it an offer from the Eclipse Legacy team.
Give your advice context
For a build or class guide, include the class, level, equipment and whether you are discussing PvE or PvP. Link to the Wiki or a shared Build Planner loadout where it helps.
Separate results you tested from suggestions you want to try. Do not present rumors as announcements or use fabricated evidence to accuse another player.
Write reports that can be investigated
Describe what you expected, what actually happened and the steps that led to it. Include the time, map and relevant game version when available.
Remove private information from attachments. Do not publish passwords, recovery links, payment details or a working method for abusing an exploit. Private account support and sensitive reports need the official private channel when it becomes available.
Help the discussion stay useful
Keep replies on topic. Avoid duplicate posts, spam, explicit material and repeated unsolicited messages. Critique the suggestion or build rather than the person who posted it.
When the forum opens, use its flagging tools for rule violations. Do not organize mass reports or turn a disagreement into a public pile-on.
