Protect Your Account

A few careful habits protect the time you put into your characters. Website Account services are coming soon; game-account creation and linking are not available through the website yet.

Use a unique password

Choose a long password that you do not use for another service. A password manager can generate and store it for you. Protect the email account you will use for recovery with its own strong password and available two-factor authentication.

Check where a link takes you

Start at eclipselegacy.com for official website links and download information. Check the full address before entering account details. Do not install a file sent by someone promising free currency, account repair or special staff access.

Staff will never ask for your password or recovery codes. Do not share reset links, setup links, authenticator codes or screenshots containing them.

Website Accounts and Game Accounts

A Website Account will be your identity for the Eclipse Legacy website and, later, the forum. Game Accounts are separate. A Website Account will not log you into the game until the relevant game-account services are available.

Game-account linking, AP purchases and authenticator enrollment are not open on this website. Do not trust messages offering to activate them privately for a fee.

If something looks wrong

Stop using the suspicious link or download. Secure your email account and change any reused passwords on the affected services through their official sites. Keep the message and time of the incident without forwarding live recovery links.

Official Eclipse Legacy support channels are coming soon. Do not post account secrets in public while looking for help.

Before you share a screenshot

Check the entire image, including chat and other windows. Hide email addresses, recovery information and unrelated personal details. A helpful report describes the problem without exposing account access.
